Since 1995

The core business of the Foundation since the establishment of the Florence Convention Bureau. We develop bids for international events and congresses, serving as the official contact point for meeting planners in collaboration with Firenze Fiera. We closely work with the University of Florence and the academic-scientific community to capture more opportunities and highlight the intellectual assets of the region.

Since 2015

Tuscany for Weddings promotes and enhances the wedding offer of Florence and the Tuscan region, by connecting local suppliers with international buyers. It also trains local operators to meet the needs of this specific, demanding market segment.

Since 2017

Destination Florence is the official marketplace of the City of Florence. Through its blog and online and offline channels, it mainly aims to inform visitors and decentralize flows by enhancing the offerings of the whole metropolitan area, while training operators.

Since 2021

Belong is the official project of the City of Florence for welcoming and managing the flow of temporary residents in the city, such as off-site students, international students, and digital nomads. We provide useful information and tools for Belongers, while collaborating with foreign universities and language schools.

Since 2024

The Foundation's most recent division promotes Florence as a destination for minor and major sports events, facilitating the organization of national and international competitions and encouraging sports tourism, especially in the metropolitan area.

We support the city's institutions and business community by providing concrete assistance and a strategic vision for managing tourist flows and developing sustainable tourism. We act as a facilitator of opportunities for businesses, universities, the academic-scientific community, and cultural institutions.
