Our commitment to Florence

Through strategic initiatives and partnerships, the Foundation works alongside institutions and businesses to encourage and implement actions to delocalize and deseasonalize visitor flows.

As the Destination Management Organization of the City of Florence and the Metropolitan City, its Founding Members, the Foundation aims to attract high-quality tourism, such as congresses and sports events, while managing the flow of individual visitors and temporary residents.

A 30-year journey in the tourism industry

Founded in 1995 as Florence Convention Bureau, Destination Florence Foundation today boasts nearly 30 years of experience and expertise in the Florentine tourism sector. Over the years, it has expanded its areas of activity, becoming a key player in the region and a facilitator of opportunities for public institutions, companies, universities, the academic-scientific community, and cultural organizations.
